SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY (State The Size Of The Area Or Responsibility In Its Functional, Geographical Or Financial Terms.)
? The China Project Management Office (PMO) Leader reports to the APAC PMO and is responsible for leading and managing the China PMO rollout and development, projects oversight with a focus to enable, support and assure successful program and project delivery in China. The APAC PMO acts as a center of excellence for program and project management, supporting the regional Program and Project Managers.
? The China PMO role owns the Project Management services - Planning, Dependency Management, Reporting, Risk Management, Quality Management, Change Control, Governance and Reporting for China based projects - being responsible for the development, deployment and adoption use of processes, standards & tools, ensuring they are applied consistently rigorously in China.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Describe The Essential Job Responsibilities, Be Specific And Concise.)
? The main interface for the local China PMO and reporting in to APAC regional PMO
? Establishing, leading and managing the China Project Management team and ensuring the PM profession is working together across China and APAC region with the right capability to manage projects effectively
? Ensures that the project team is trained regularly and follows APAC PMO policies and procedures, standards, and methodology throughout the project engagement.
? Ensures China respective project documents are current, reviewed and stored in the APAC PMO artifacts library appropriately
? Conducts regular audits of projects to ensure they are working with the process and methodologies as agreed and set up within the region
? Works with respective Functional Leaders to identify PM resources needed (and outsourced PM provider) to ensure PMO assigns PMs in line with a structured project prioritization process
? Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the PMO team in China

JOB & REQUIREMENT (State The Type And Amount Of Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities Suggested To Fully Perform The Requirements Of The Position.)
? Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP®) required
? Education: Master’s degree or equivalent
? Proven experience managing PMOs, preferably in a services delivery business and with some Business Change context
? Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to write formal documents and clear concise business communications to multiple audiences (management, technical, user)
? Business proficiency level in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is required.
? Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
? Solid senior stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to operate at senior levels
? Leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high performing teams
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint)
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management / SharePoint (preferable)
