Job Summary:
? Remanufacturing Engineer in Volvo CE Reman Center Shanghai.
? Disassembly, inspection and machining of engine components.
? Core Handling
? Field failure analysis and report
? Follow the volvo safety norms
Job Content:
1. Roles:
Reman Engineer

2. Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
? Dismantle incoming Engins, Pumps, Motors and other Reman products.
? Repair exchange goods in accordance with Volvo Reman Specs and standards.
? Failure of production equipment reported to the Supervisor
? Maintenance fixtures and tools
? Receiving and Dismantling of Returned Materials
? Identification and Inspection
? Notify list of part consumed on each reman units.
? Notifying the Minimum Stock of Parts required for Remanufacturing
? Carry out Remanufacturing Activities
? Testing and arrange for Painting of Reman Units
? Follow Safety Instructions as per Volvo Standards
? Maintenance of Test Bench, Fixtures and Tooling
? Notifying the calibration requirements to line manager
? Always have an Environment in the Work Place
? Maintain Parts List of all Hydraulic Components
? Receive, identify, inspect and capture findings
? Support in resolving the field issue related to Hydraulic components.
? Maintaining the test reports for reman components built.
? Maintaining clean work place with Volvo safety and environmental standards.
? Faulty material, faulty goods and products are separated and that the supervisor is communicated

Authorities:
? Stop refurbished units that do not meet applicable quality standards
? Perform inspection of own work
? Release component after adjustment for specification
? Release part only on completion and satisfactory inspection / test
? Deployment of internal resources to get best possible out put.

Accountability:
? Dissemination of technical information

3. Key Skills:
? Basic Engine and hydraulic knowledge on simple circuit and oil cleanliness standards
? Engine mechanical repair experience.
? Good hardware and component knowledge of company products
? Good interpersonal skills and initiative
? Read and understand documents and specifications from the supplier
? Quality awareness.

? College degree in mechanical field
? CNC machine experience.
? Technical drawing competence.
