Major Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic planning of project business, including business plan and business concept development, demand of resources and optimized dedication of work forces;
- Identify project markets, customer groups, and business opportunities. Work together with other disciplines to conclude orders. Monitor the execution of orders to achieve customers’ satisfaction;
- Work closely with sales team on all major contracts;
- Work with all product managers to ensure efficient service to customers, and sufficient promotion of all related products within BTES ENG, PM, TS and PT divisions;
- Ensure the project success with right engineering methods in the approved budget, within requested time and with pre-specified quality;
- Define, evaluate and prepare engineering standard, scope of work, materials and equipment of the projects;
- Perform leadership and direction within project execution team;
- Manage budget estimation and cost calculation as well as schedule and risk management for the preparation of appropriate requests;
- Involve in technical procurement procedures and the evaluation or selection of Suppliers, Design Institute and Contractors;
- Monitor the quality control process to meet different requirements;
- Overall project design & safety responsibilities;
- Make necessary project report;
- Manage and train specialist managers, if necessary.

Requirements:
- Education: Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or equivalent, Master’s or Doctor’s degree is preferred;
- Working Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in project management, PM experience in construction unit within local or international project environment is a strong plus;
- Knowledge (acquired information necessary to do the job)
1) of project management, contractor management, engineering design principles and practices in Bayer and China;
3) of project management, planning, controlling, execution, other general business principles and procedures;
4) Level of knowledge required
Advanced: as a recognized expert among thoses in the field, applies a high degree of knowledge of the overall field; applies principles, practices and procedures of a particular field within the disciplin to complete difficult assignments
- Excellent skills in designing software and project management related software;
- High sense of responsibility, well organized with teamwork spirit and sense of confidentiality;
- Sufficient managerial, organizational, leadership and communication skills;
- Good business sense and business oriented mindset; Background in engineering is desired.
- Fluent-written & oral English
