Major Responsibilities:
The Senior Piping Engineer is responsible for the costs, time schedule and the quality of the piping as a part of an investment project. He generally supports the Project Lead Piping Engineer in the execution of a project regarding the piping. The main responsibilities are:
- Execute work in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards.
- Review the project execution schedule developed by the Cost and Planning Department and to develop the detailed schedule for Piping Engineering and/or Design activities if necessary.
- Preparation of pipe specifications (Pipe, Fitting and Valve, Technical Forms)
- Preparation of GA- and piping concepts
- Detail design of piping (isometrics, special supports, insulation, etc.)
- Preparation of MTO's, Prepare material requisitions for the defined bulk material. Issue material requisitions for enquiry, order placement and for any subsequent revisions.
- Participate in model review meeting as project required
- Initiation and evaluation of stress-calculations concerning piping
- Field engineering support
- Define subject matters of contract concerning the piping
- Maintain close working relationship with project engineers, other discipline engineers and plant maintenance and engineering personnel to assure coordination of engineering activities with other groups and locations.
- Provide (or supervise) consulting and design services to internal and external customers.
- Participates during project construction, commissioning, and startup phases to assure quality, define and resolve variances from plans, and to monitor and assure schedule and costs are within plans.
- Participate in the quality program to identify and correct known engineering defects. Advise the Project Lead Piping Engineer of: -Any major slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action. -All policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved differences with other Groups.

Requirements:
- More than 10 years job knowledge and comprehensive knowledge concerning piping
- Deep knowledge in standards and regulations
- Knowledge about material management
- Familiar with equipment layout, pipe layout, materials control, and stress analysis
- Business fluent English
