Job Title: China Market - Sales Engineer

SUMMARY
Sells and provides technical support and service in the field of Anthropomorphic Test Devices, related equipment and products or services by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Calls on Chinese customers, such as engineers or other professional and technical individuals and attempts to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered. Must have the ability to sell on corporate advantages, product strengths and attributes not on price.

Prepares accurate and timely sales forecasts and projections and assures key sales targets are met.

Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.

Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.

Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

Draws up sales or service contracts and proposals for product or service offers to clients. Will assist with Order entry as necessary and product quotations.

Provides technical training to employees of client or Humanetics.

Preparation of seminar materials, presentation and scheduling such events for the North American market.

Attends SAE and other important meetings as needed.

Adheres to ISO 9001,ISO 14001, A2LA Quality System Procedures established within Humanetics.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering from four-year College or university; five years related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to speak fluent Chinese and very good English speaking capabilities. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
