Location: Zhuanqiao, Shanghai - CHINA
TECHNOCHINA, an ALTYOR Group’s subsidiary, is a French industrial company specialized in the contract design & manufacturing of multi-technology products in China (www.technochina.com). The company currently employs around 150 people.
The Sourcing & Purchasing department is currently looking for a talented Electronic Purchaser in order to guarantee the identification, qualification & supply of the convenient electronic/electric components.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
The Electronic Purchaser involves in sourcing and procurement process of electronics components and the management of EMS supplier for PCBA for the needs of both NPI (New Introduction Product) team and mass production.
- Actively interact with EMS supplier for the supply of PCBA (components shortage list verification; PO placement; production planning prioritization and follow up).
- Actively interact with authorized distributors (ARROW, FUTURE, AVNET, etc.) for the procurement of electronic components (PO placement; delivery follow up; Price, L/T, MOQ negotiation)
- Anticipate the group's sourcing needs by identifying & qualifying products & components to be used in the future: touch screens, solar cells, radio/GPRS modules, specific cables & connectors, newly-released microcontrollers
- Monitor supplier performance of electronics/electric components suppliers and strengthen relationships: factory audit, regular communication, face-to-face meetings, and negotiation of price, MOQ, L/T & payment terms.
- Manage supplier payment planning and invoice processing
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in field of Electronics or purchasing/supply chain.
- 2 years sourcing & procurement experience in Manufacturing Services (EMS) company
- Proficiency in MS Office & ERP software.
Personal skills:
- Self-motivated, proactive and passionate about new technologies & electronics.
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Solid problem solving and analytical skill.
- Fluency in written English (email communication with foreign suppliers) and good oral skills for communication with foreign staff.
- Flexibility : many business trip are expected
- Rigorous
