Be responsible for designing specific product categories-i.e.mould modifications,design of small structure parts etc.-in the CATIA 3D environment according to customer requirements.He will discuss together with the technical sales the necessary change and offer the solution as a base for the proprammer to create the milling program.

Be responsible for designing specific product categories-i.e.mould modifications,design of small structure parts etc.-in the CATIA 3D environment according to customer requirements.He will discuss together with the technical sales the necessary change and offer the solution as a base for the proprammer to create the milling program.
Responsibilities:
. Design moulds,components,sub-assemblies,and full assemblies based on design standards,current steel manufacturing techniques/tolerances,and product design requirements.
. Support customer needs through enhancing and upgrading existing production tools for optimal output and quality.
. As required,work with customer on problem solving to find solutions for mould modifications.
. Schedule tool design,fabrication,and development for new products as well as sustaining projects.
. Adhere to all corporate engineering standards including,but not limited to documentation and file management.
. Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks,develop solutions to problems utilizing education,experience and judgment.
. Greate necessary production drawings.
. Greate assembly drawings.
Job Requirements
. Minimum three to four years hands-on design experience of steel moulds for plastic injections.
. Knowledge of process engineering plastics needed.
. Must be a self-starter with strong leadership.
. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
. Excellent interpersonal skills in relating to both internal and external customers.
. Proficient in MS Office applications(Powerpoint,Excel,Word,Outlook).
. Knowledge of steel machining techniques,mould design,injection mould materials.
. Excellent Knowledge of engineering design software Catia V5 R19.
. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering Technology,Computer Graphics Technology or equivalent work experience.
. Working knowledge of CATIA V5 with minimally 8000 seat hours,has 5-years minimal trailer design experience using CATIA.
. Knowledge of Great Dane systems,standards & procedures and template building.
. Very good English knowledge is necessary.
. Tebis 3.5 programming skills is a big plus.
