We're looking for a senior Java/J2EE web application developer to work within our Global Delivery Organization. The qualified candidate will develop new systems and enhance current systems as required. Responsible for design, development and implementation, this developer will be required to understand both the functional and business side of new and current solutions.



Position Description & Responsibilities:

· The candidate must be confident, highly motivated and excited working with cutting-edge technology.

· Participate in technical design of new system components

· New development, customization, and maintaining existing code-base

· Work on a team toward delivering a complex enterprise-wide system

· Unit testing

· Interact with Quality Assurance to understand testing results

· Evaluate new technologies and help determine their applicability to the application

· Technical documentation of applications



Qualifications:

· 5+ years Java development experience

· Experience with developing large Java based applications

· Object-oriented application design experience.

· Unix Solaris or Linux experience.

· Experience working with Spring (other Java frameworks a plus)

· Experience with XML technologies

· Oracle and SQL background.

· Experience developing web services using J2EE technologies.

· Background in Web 2.0 technologies such as REST, jQuery, GWT, SpringMVC, JSR 286, Comet, Ajax.

· Strong bias for action.




Desired Skills/Competencies:

· Application development leadership experience.

· Web Application Security background.

· Understanding of SAML, WS-Federation..

· Web Single Sign-on experience.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience using RSA's Access Manager (ClearTrust) product.

· Experience with Portlets and Liferay Portal Server.

Experience with Resin and/or other J2EE application servers.
