Position focus
The responsibilities of this employee are to analyze and administer global Linux, Windows, VMware, and Storage systems to provide a secure functioning and compliant infrastructure to facilitate the operation of company applications executing within the supported environment.

Position Requirement
? Administer Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, and SUSE Linux servers located at global locations that support 24x7x365 company operations.
? Manage and support global VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM virtual environments, including provisioning, maintenance, and break/fix troubleshooting.
? Manage systems to ensure security, performance and compliance, and functionality.
? Interface with application teams to assess server and data storage requirements and to prepare the appropriate system environment.

Job Specifics Skills
? Required to communicate in English language at 90-percent proficiency
? Proficiency in Linux Operating System Administration and Trouble Shooting (5 Years)
? Knowledge of Server Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM) (5 Years)
? Proficiency in Windows Server Administration
? Familiarity with server tuning and performance tools (1-3 Years)
? Knowledge of network drivers, protocols and switches (1-3 Years)
? Knowledge of physical disks and SAN configuration (1-3 Years)
? Knowledge of regulatory compliance policies, procedures and practices (1-3 Years)
? Ability to work well in a team structure
? Good verbal communication and customer and management interface skills
? Linux Certification Preferred

Non-Flexible Requirements
? Participate in stand-by rotation for 24x7x365 support
? Provide support outside of normal business hours when required
