As a group leader, the selected candidate will lead a team with 7-8 R&D employees. He/She is expected not only to provide scientific expertise and leadership for the ongoing projects, but also to propose valuable initiatives to expand the company business. He/She needs to work with internal R&D team, corporate product related teams as well as local customers and partners to ensure the smooth delivery of products.

Job Description:

Lead a group of researchers and scientists for monoclonal antibody projects;
Thoughtfully design and implement experimental plans from antigen selection, immunization, screening to purification;
Develop, track and manage detailed development program timelines, resource and budget allocations, deliverables and milestone progress, including critical path dependencies;
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project sub-teams to ensure progress according to budget and timelines;
Provide support to the management team on project updates / reports as needed;
Closely communicate with people in science, business, manufacturing within the company;
Assist China R&D Center Site Manger in accomplishing other R&D duties related of mAbs.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in biological sciences, with a minimum3 years of monoclonal antibody experiences is required. Industrial and/or oversea experience is a plus;
Highly experienced in monoclonal antibody generation, and strong problem-solving skills in all aspects of mAb generation process. Experience in developing antibody pairs for diagnostic/detection kits is highly desired;
Broad knowledge and experience in cutting-edge research areas, familiar with various antibody generation technologies;
Excellent communication and presentation skill in oral and written English is required;
Well-organized, details-orientated, and self-motivated.
