Description
For our Shanghai Office, we are looking for a Category Manager. As a Category Manager, you are the link between the marketing department and the management. You will source suppliers and products that comply with the high quality standards that Vitaminstore has set, and negotiate with our suppliers for the best possible deal. You are able to translate the unique aspects of our products to our sales staff, in order to get the best possible sales results. Finally, you are able to make clear analysis and present these to the management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has the following skills:
- Independent worker
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years experience in the Chinese (Health) Food, Distributing or related industry
- A clear understanding of the fierce Chinese (Health) Food market
- Experience in negotiating and purchasing
- Experience in giving training
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to think and do for himself/herself
- Never give up

With 20 stores in all major Dutch city's and a successful eCommerce business, we are now ready to make the next step, which will be expanding our business onto the China Mainland. Vitaminstore plans to open it's first Shanghai store later this quarter, selling imported high-class brands and a high-quality private label. We plan on opening 30 stores in the first 3 years of operation in all major Chinese cities.
