Chinese lawyer to join us as Senior associate based in Shanghai.
At least 5 or 6 years of experience in a big Chinese firm or in a legal department of European group or senior / partner in a foreign law firm.
(a) What kind of work will the candidate be expected to handle?
Legal work :
- To be able to be in direct contact with clients
- To draft note, memo based on researches and contacts with authorities
- To be able to run negotiations for clients
- Corporate and tax matters, mergers and acquisitions
Commercial :
- To organize with assistance of marketing team events / presentations in china and abroad
- To develop the business
- To draft articles on different Chinese and international publications
Management :
- To supervise the work of Chinese lawyers
- Team builder
