职位描述：
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Data Analyst to join our business intelligence team in our China office. Reporting to the lead data analyst in Shanghai, the ideal candidate for this role must be a good communicator (in English and Mandarin Chinese) and have the technical expertise to support projects that require heavy data-mining and dashboard development, as well as quantitative analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

- Develop reporting and performance tracking solutions to understand game play and key business behaviors, such as player acquisition and retention.
- Develop, organize, and manage a library of reports and dashboards.
- Report to the lead data analyst in Shanghai and work closely with business intelligence analysts globally, as well as business teams to design and construct sophisticated statistical models to forecast key business metrics.
- Effectively communicate statistical findings and insights to management, both in written and verbal presentations.

Requirements

- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English, and Mandarin Chinese
- Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Microstrategy, Business Objects, or Microsoft SSRS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, and mathematics, with a strong quantitative focus and good logical thinking
- A minimum of 3 years experience in reporting and statistical model development. Fresh graduate students with strong technical skills and good business acumen are also welcome
- Able to translate business requirements into technical and data requirements
- Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle)
