We are a division of Southern Graphic Systems (SGS) headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, a proven leader in the field for over 60 years.

We are seeking a high caliber candidate to fill the following vacancy at our client’s office:

A client facing design to print manager communicating and tracking a high volume of projects from the initial design brief to completion, often against very tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Serves as key daily liaison between client and SGS internal teams to manage the end to end workflow from design to print

- Work with Creative Team to brainstorm creative ideas and deliver these back to the client explaining the design process behind each of the options

- Take design briefs and work with the Operations team to follow procedures for costing and quoting

- Promotes, services and exceeds customer expectations through vigilance and being pro-active to client’s present and future needs

- Track and maintain projects to ensure product launch timelines

- Develop and mentor staff, instilling a culture of excellence in approach and execution

- Guide and lead the cross functional approval process

- Manage communication from multiple locations worldwide

- Responsible for briefing and collating data for the Quarterly Business Review report

- Working with the Operations team to develop, implement and review the workflows required for efficient management of the account

- Coach and monitor onsite team to ensure outputs can meet customer’s requirements and delivered on time, ensure knowledge of clients can be shared among respective staff

- Attend and make quality contributions at client meetings

Requirements:

- Diploma graduates with minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in pre-press, packaging, design, printing and graphics is prefer.

- Previous work within a creative or design agency an advantage

- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, able to express ideas effectively during conference calls

- Work well in fast paced environment and under pressure. Fast response, excellent time management with strong problem solving skills, able to manage projects under tight deadlines independently

- Excellent in multi-tasking, effectively priorities tasks and handle large amount of enquiries

- Detail minded and well organized

- Can-do attitude, proactive, self-motivated and highly adaptable

- Candidate with previous experiences in managing a small team is an advantage

- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate to people at all levels efficiently. Work well as a team or as an individual contributor

- Proficient in Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

- The incumbent will be reported to Account Director
