Duties:

• Funnel NZ inquiries in to the relevant merchandiser within the team
• Ensure that the specifications are as well developed for all line supplied by SRO
• Review Matrix Gaps method on a timely basis
• Identify supplier Geography
• Evaluate all new suppliers in preparations for quoting and visiting
• To assist in planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures by Product category
• To optimize profitability by proposing prices to maximise profits and monitor the performance of product categories (monitoring bestsellers and slow movers), promotions and discounts as necessary to sell merchandise timely and efficiently
• Negotiate price and monitor order details and timeline
• Ensure all factories are accredited before place orders
• Monitor Critical Path & production status reports
• Ensure robust reporting and KPI's are maintained to ensure supplier and team performance is managed
• Department function training
• Ensure that the merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser understands what is being requested
• Work with the merchandise teams to ensure critical path management is a key focus to performance and delivery
