This person will be responsible for:
· Working closely with Business Analyst, Developer and Quality Assurance teammates to communicate and implement requested system changes in an agile development environment.
· Working closely with the Business Analysts and Quality Assurance to provide solutions, trouble-shoot issues and improve the product quality.
· Working closely with other Developers to implement required business functions.
· Coordinating the work of the team with other internal IT product teams to deliver smooth and efficient products for all ThoughtWorks employees.
The relevant skills/traits for this position are:
· Required
o At least 1 year Java/C# experience.
o At least 1 year Linux shell script experience.
o Understanding of the business processes unique to a professional services business.
o Appreciation of the joys and pains of working with colleagues and “customers” from different cultures and time zones around the world.
o Excellent oral and written English proficiency.
· Highly desirable
o 1+ years of experience in an agile software development environment
o Python development experience
o Amazon Web Services automation and operation experience
