Basic Function:
The role of the Office Administrator will be to provide office and human resource administrative support to CPI’s entity in Shenzhen. The position will work closely with the associates in China to provide support and resources with the recruitment process, training sessions, payroll, conference/meeting set up, manage office supplies and other duties as assigned. This position will be the main point of contact to manage our associate’s benefits, insurance, vacation time, and other statutory benefits. This role will initiate and lead our social responsibility activities for the CPI China team. The Office Administrator will ensure that communications and policy deployment from CPI headquarters is being communicated and deployed throughout CPI China. The Office Administrator will be a key point of contact for the CPI China team.
Responsibilities and Duties
? Works with HRBPs and hiring managers to manage the recruitment process for the site and acts as contact for local universities and agencies
? Supervises day to day activities of administrative resources (where applicable)
? Acts as the medical benefits representative for local associates, works with benefits vendors and is the first point of contact for associate issues within the business unit
? Acts as the pension/retirement savings plan representative for local associates, works with benefits vendors and is the first point of contact for associate issues within the business unit
? Manages on-boarding and exist of all associates
? Creates and supports the management of corporate communication through SharePoint, email and other available media
? Manages 3rd party vendors and negotiates rates for the HR team for contracts and recruitment
? Understands and works to ensure HR compliance of local laws
? Updates and manages local policies and ensures harmonization with rest of CPI and Crane Co.
? Manages Outsourced Payroll (and/or coordination with Finance)
? Manages local Employee Relations issues (in accordance to local legal requirements)
? Coordinates with local work council or employee representation
? Manages all local internal communication working closely with site leadership
? Provide Training for local employees.
? In charge of local conference/meeting set up.
? Responsible for organizing annual CPI China team meeting
? Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Required Skills
? Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or equivalent.
? Experience managing staff
? 5-8 years related Human Resources and Office Administration experience in a manufacturing environment
? Strong HR and Office Administration skills
? Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin essential) and English (Verbal & Written)

? High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
? Excellent influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to establish credibility and be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities

? Team player – able to work in a matrix organization
? Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing
? Up to 10% travel
