Job description
Supporting the Service Team in different tasks:
- Secure and improve the overall quality, efficiency and availability of the datacenter infrastructure across APAC region
- 2nd and 3rd level service delivery of Atlas Copco ACBS’s customers within the region
- Providing datacenter capacity planning and reporting
- Ensuring IT service level management for strategic outsourcing agreements
- Safeguarding the daily operations while supporting the Service Desk & Operations through a 2nd level escalation derived from incident management, tasks within the 2nd level problem resolution are executed while even 3rd level problem management is performed with the strategic partners of Atlas Copco.

Additional information:
In reference to infrastructure components and common applications the following tasks have to be considered from an ITIL perspective:
- Incident Management on 2nd level supporting Service Desk & Operations
- Problem Management on 2nd and 3rd level
- Change Management
- Release Management
- Project delivery as project team member
- Project Management Tasks

Experience requirements
Good command of English (daily use of written and spoken form)
Other language skills are an advantage
Some practical experience in ACBS, IT system, especially focusing on infrastructure components like servers, storage, backup and datacenter aspects:
- Windows Server family is necessary

Also in some of these areas:
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Administration.
- Windows SQL server family
- Experience in Citrix Server family
- Experience in Virtualization technologies (i.e. VMWare)
- Fundamentals of TCP/ IP
- Experience with managing external service provider relationship
- Experience in operational monitoring is an advantage
- Familiarity with ITIL is an advantage

Knowledge
- Some experience in Service Desk is preferred
- VMWare VCP Certification preferred
- Active Directory Services with Windows Server is an advantage
- MCSE or at least selected areas are preferred

Educational requirements
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology or a similar academic background

Personality requirements
- Genuine interest in technical aspects
- Innovative
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated and finalize challenging tasks under some coaching and training.
- Positive attitude and ability to solve problems under coaching and training
- Ability to plan, follow through and execute under coaching and training
