Associate - Verifier/Consultant

Candidate’s qualification includes, but not limited to the following:
1) Bachelor degree and above
2) Major related, and 1-2 year related experience is a plus
3) CFA candidates or experienced in finance is a big plus
4) Excellent English skills
5) Focus on details and be patient
6) Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Access, database is a plus
As a professional staff in API Shanghai office, employee should be developing the working knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and also be studying for the Principals section of the CIPM exam (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) from the 1st year unless he or she is currently enrolled into an equivalent or higher credential program, such as CFA and/or CIPM.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
1. Input all clients’ performance in our system and find any discrepancy or error
2. Test the holdings and transactions of portfolios to validate the accounting of different security types, including equities, bonds, options, futures, real estate, private equity, etc.
3. Review valuation policy of the firm for reasonableness and test the accounting treatment of investment income
4. Analyze and evaluate the client’s performance calculation
5. Evaluate the appropriateness of benchmarks of the composites
6. Review disclosure presentations and requests for proposals (RFPs) for fair representation and full disclosure
7. Perform annual and/or quarterly verification of investment adviser’s claims of compliance with the GIPS
8. Work closely with US colleague for any related questions and problems found 举报 分享
