Job Title: Systems Analyst

Reports To: IT Manager


SUMMARY
Support and analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business system by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Assists in planning and designing business processes, assists in formulation of recommendations to improve and support business activities
? Assists in analyzing and documenting business requirements and processes; communicating these requirements to technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models to help enhance the current ERP system
? Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements
? Participates in meetings to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions
? Help develop and produce database query reporting
? Troubleshoot or address significant limitations or problems of technology applications
? Act as a liaison between application development and business units to provide analytical support and consulting on complex projects to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood during the design and development of the application
? Record, distribute, resolve and ensure timely and accurate problem resolution of technical issues
? Develop and execute business process testing
? Assist with daily support of shop floor data collection systems
? Assist with helpdesk support

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Five years of general business experience.
Minimum five years of ERP/EDI software experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Knowledge:
? Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

? Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
