Essential Function 1: Business Development
1. Implements market/customer penetration strategies for Electsrical area, together with Sr. BDD
2. Develops and builds market awareness of EP/HTR project and relevant value propositions
3. Generates and drives project pipeline at targeted, relevant potential large accounts
4. Manages projects towards accurate, timely and value-added completion
5 Achieves target margins for new business based on value-added principles
6 Responsible for key account coordination within the area. Takes the global lead where needed.
Essential Function 2: Establish External and Internal Network
1. Support local sales by providing in-depth knowledge of the (sub-)segment
2. Develops a network within the area to identify and exploit new business opportunities
3. Works with polymer producers to leverage knowledge and create opportunities
4. Co-operates and supports regionally and globally to maximize outcome
Essential Function 3: Field Marketing
1. Translates strategy into sales activities within the area
2. Manages and develops personal project list
3. Follow-up on sales leads generated by Marketing Communications activities
4. Collaborates effectively with site functions and country sales to fulfill customer needs
Essential Function 4: Others
1 Other tasks assgined by Sr. Business Development Director
Education:
Technical qualification and experience in sales, marketing, project engineering, thourough understanding of Electronics industry
Business experience:
a) Knowledge of the polymer and/or Electrical industry (e.g. Schneider, ABB, CHINT) gained on practical level in commercial or technical role
b) Market and product knowledge; min 2-3 years in business development/ sales
c) Project management of technical projects
d) Working with multi-region/ key accounts 1 to 2 years
Note: incumbent with relevant experience in/from Electrical industry has a preference
Technical Sales 2-3 years ideally multi-region account management
Additional Qualifications:
Incumbent MUST possess high degree of personal drive and autonomy, position involves extensive travels and requires excellent communication skills, both internally as well as externally. Position is strongly prefered to be based in Shanghai due to proximity of large group of relevant OEM.
