Job Description: QA specialist (Toy/small gift industry)

1. Responsible for all QC and Compliance activities. i.e. Support in keeping the compliance documents, preparing compliance reports and responding to general enquiries
2. Develop, implement and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced materials and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals)
3. Establish the QC system, Boost Quality manual and Product Safety Protocol
4. Ensure products are made to specification and quality compliance & expectations
5. Draft MML & product Tolerance Sheet with suppliers for headquarters approval.
6. Vendor assessment: Audit suppliers on-site, independently or together with sourcing specialist.
7. Manage/lead on-site inspector to perform inspection in supplier’ factories. Review inspection report and pass to NLO, and follow up with suppliers to improve on quality issues by means of corrective action plan to identify the root cause and come up with short & long term solutions
8. Do on-site inspection, when needed.
9. Be the primary contact person for testing and i-comply system maintenance.
10. Work with suppliers when samples fail test or can’t reach headquarters expectation.
11. Design & Model review; Help headquarters to foresee any product safety issue, and advise creative team to correct.
12. Work pro-actively towards suppliers to comply with the BSCI principles/code of conduct.
13. Maintain good relationship with test companies like TÜV/Intertek/SGS and update on the latest requirement as well as test cost summary.

Qualification: (Toy/small gift industry)

1. Bachelor degree, major in mechanical engineering.
2. Fluent both in English/Mandarin speaking and written.
3. More than 6 years work experience at QA position, at least, 3 years in toy or small gift industry, preferable for an European based headquarters
4. Have knowledge on European toy safety and legal compliance ( EU toy regulations and directives).
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skill and high sense of responsibility.
6. Good knowledge of factory production method.
7. Good knowledge of inspection standard.
8. Experience with developing/documenting/implementing procedures
9. Willing to work under pressure and work overtime.
10. Loyal and honest to company, and strong team spirit.
11. Can travel from time to time.
12. Work experience in premium is a plus.
13. Work experience in labs (SGS, TUV, ITS) is a plus.
14. Available latest by January 1st 2017.
