PART 1: POSITION DATA

POSITION: Operations Manager
JOB BASIC FUNCTION:
? Leads and manage the bonded warehouse operations in Shanghai
? Be an active member of the warehouse management team
? Drive operations excellence in the warehouse
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? This position will deliver operations excellence in the warehouse
? This position will to manage the warehouse operations and trouble shoot related issues and to ensure operational risk compliance.
Accountabilities
? Manage, plan and coordinate all warehouse operations requirements as instructed by HQ to ensure optimum achievements of the required service level and results
? Responsible for the security of products in the warehouse and maintain safe working environment
? Ensure accuracy of inventories in the warehouse
? Improve the warehouse space utilization
? Optimize the working process about the warehouse operations (e.g. stock-in / storage / stock-out etc…)
? Identify, trouble shoot and resolve any issues (and potential ones) that create barriers to operations and service delivery
? Initiate and improve the warehouse productivity
? Review of warehouse’s service quality and cost
? Liaise with the service providers for all the outsourcing operations
? Implement, monitor and deliver the KPIs (internal & external)
? Identify and propose training programs for warehouse staff where needed
? Monthly reporting to China HQ

PART 2: JOB SKILL REQUIRED

QUALIFICATION:
? Candidate must possess at least a college degree from local or internationally recognized university in Business Administration, Logistics, Customer Service or equivalent and have extensive experience in similar industry or related function.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
? Experience in the third party logistics W&D sector and operations experience in handling metals is preferred
? Experience in the working process management
? Experience in managing warehouse operations
? Experience in custom clearance operations
? Customer focus, results oriented and with positive attitude.
? Analytical skill to understand problem and provide best solution in order to deliver within the defined time and optimize cost
? Team player
? At least 5 years of experience in a warehousing/logistics operations role.
AGE RANGE:
? 30 and above
COMMUNICATION SKILLS/ LANGUAGES:
? Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese is a must
? Effective interpersonal skills
? Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
