职位描述
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Portfolio Management & Strategy
Defines specifications and establishes breadth, depth, and evolution of the product range and its positioning in the market according to customer segments and channels.
Manages product life from launching to cancellation in coordination with global team, and local sales operation, finance and field sales force. Understands also implications to sales, inventory and operations planning (SIOP) and acts accordingly.
Makes thorough market research and analysis, uses Voice of the customer regularly to understand customer needs of the different sales channels and customer segments (e.g. automotive parts, medical equipment, mould, etc.)
Monitors competitors and makes benchmarking of competitor offering.
Develops strategic partnerships with key suppliers of localized machine tool parts.
Competitor monitoring, benchmarking, industry associate activities.
Project Management
Coordinates execution of New Product introduction with the cross-functional teams of application & service engineering, logistics, marketing communication and sales. Makes sure that schedule and deliverables are maintained by all the functions to guarantee product introduction on time, within defined budget.
Ensures that products are introduced in the market with proper sales force training, product information availability, sales strategy, product argumentation.
Business
Understands sales and gross margin evolution and variations, able to split through different customer types and geographic regions to analyze reasons and propose corrective actions.
Coordinates selling price strategies across the country and its control with the global guidance and supervision, understands basic elements for pricing and how to improve profit.
In order to provide the necessary training, visit end users and assist at shows, open houses, seminars, etc.,
Other responsibilities
Supervise the customs team to make sure the transaction of legal import/ export goods activities from the Free Trade Zone to China.
Monitor and manage HAA distribution business out of China mainland, e.g. Taiwan.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employees in the areas of responsibility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in marketing/business or engineering or sufficient technical / market experience, preferably in manufacturing and/ or managing a distribution sales network. Technical experience is a must.
· 5+ years of brand business experiences in marketing/product management or sales of trade business products (working experience in a USA or multinational company is a plus)
· Good understanding of marketing tools: 4Ps, Voice of the customer, product strategy, etc.
· Skills and proven experiences of project management.
Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)
· Advanced level of verbal and written English communication
· Excellent computer skills (Access, Excel, PPT)
· Excellent product knowledge
· Strong marketing and/ or sales acumen
· Good communication skills: presenting, facilitating discussions.
· Ability to handle and lead cross functional teams
