Job title: Environmental Compliance Auditor

Department: Environmental & Chemical Compliance

Objectives of the position:
The chemical and environmental requirements in the textile industries grow constantly, since the clean resources are getting rare, and the emissions pose bigger impact on human health and the environment.

Detox is a project which is initiated by NGO Greenpeace aiming at eliminating application of hazardous chemicals in textile production. As a part of the supply chain, our supplier need to be aligned with the Detox program till 2020 and the further requirement in chemical and environmental fields.

The auditor needs to inspect the current or potential suppliers, mainly fabric dyeing or printing factories, and decide whether the factory meet our internal or client's standard. Then help these capable but not fully compliant suppliers to improve.

Main tasks:
> Visit the suppliers to inspect their current level of environmental compliance (including chemical management, waste water treatment, risk assessment, etc.)
> Work with third-party to communicate and improve the level of promising suppliers based on the road map.
> Collect/consolidate/update the Detox data and other projects in Environmental & Chemical Compliance.
> Communication with local team and headquarter in Germany.
> Maintaining supplier relationship.

Requirements:
> Ability of working in team or individually.
> Good English skill in written and preferentially speaking. CET-4 is required and CET-6 is preferred.
> Educational background of Environmental/Chemical/Textile Engineering or related fields in College Degree.
> No experience is acceptable, related experience is preferred. 举报 分享
