Purpose
The General Manager, HVAC Marine Newbuilding, China appoints a Project Manager to be in charge for a particular project. The Project Manager position is normally limited to the duration of the project. The Project Manager is responsible for executing the project according to the contracts terms and quality and within the established budget.

Reporting to General Manager, HVAC Marine Newbuilding, China

Main working area & responsibilities
? Responsibility for all assigned projects.
? Understand all the contracts and obligations under his/her management and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and Callenberg position is protected
? Plan and execute projects in line with Callenberg guidelines
? Participate in final negotiations with customer before contract, when possible.
? Issue a monthly project status report both to customer (acc. to Quality System or as requested by customer) and internally (update project economy).
? Act as a single point of contact for both customer and other authorities on behalf of the project.
? Maintain good customer relations.
? Initiate necessary internal and external meetings for the project.
? Responsible for up keeping good HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) practices as laid out by the company at all times
? The job may require personal attendance on the job site during execution of the work.


Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
? Technical education at university level preferably in HVAC technology
? > 5 years experience within relevant working field (lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience)
? Experience from design and engineering of complex HVAC projects
? Good technical competence
? Good knowledge of rules and regulations for marine and offshore applications
? Good commercial awareness
? Proven leadership skills
? Good command of verbal and written English.
? Ability to communicate and cooperate on all levels
? Ability to build and maintain excellent working relations with key stakeholders.
? Result oriented.
? Willing to stay abroad for short or longer terms.
