DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
1. Conduct new project RFQ, track and complete the RFQ in the schedule.
2. Conduct with the new project kick-off, take charge of the new project material readiness.
3. Develop the new supplier, collect the supplier basic information and other ISO documents and customer AVL approval clue, organize supplier Audit, set-up the supplier information in VM.
4. Negotiate the price for new parts, fix the terms and conditions for the new commodity parts, guide the clerk to system information set-up, and give the instrument to NPI- buyer for material order release.
5. Obtain and submit FA sample & report from customer direct AVL or stand parts to SQE before the mass production kick-off. Trace the FA status, Follow up the trail run project No-AVL parts FA submit.
6. Follow up with the critical parts ( Machining / plastic / Moulding / casting ) FA submit.
7. Constant cost reduction negotiate with existing suppliers and existing parts.
8. Resource and localize the existing parts.
9. Get extra contract like VMI and shorten L/T contract.
10. In charge of materials CoC and RoHS readiness activities
11. Support NPI buyer and purchasing team for anything they can’t control.
