Key responsibilities:

·Conduct Pre-production Meeting, inline and final product inspections, provide and solution on technical issues (e.g. Construction and fitting issue).

·Audit 1st pilot sample and make comments, remind and monitor factory correction.

·Work closely with merchandisers team for proto sample/pp sample comments, status.

·Evaluate and get understanding re the capability of all of the factories.

·Conduct factory evaluation and prepare reports.

·Provide technical advice on style feature to facilitate the productivity at factories.

·Execute quality control at factories and give them comment to make correct rectification if issue happen on samples / bulk.

·Work closely with merchandisers in Fownes Shanghai and make proposal if there’s unexpected issue happen, When finding any quality issue in inline and final inspection, need send e-mail with attached photos with 12 hours.

·Input final inspection reports into Fownes System within 24 hours.

·Training factory Quality Inspectors, make sure factory Quality Inspectors to understand Fownes Quality requirement.

·Adjudge some quality issue in final inspection.

·Monitor factory production status and communicate with merchandiser team fluently.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

·With minimum 8 years' relevant experience (Knit Garment/ Accessory-Hat, Glove, Scarf & Outdoor glove ).

·College or University graduate.

·Good command of both written and oral English.

·Team work spirit, detail oriented.

·Familiar with Microsoft office software MS Word and Excel.

Willing to travel extensively and independently

A US Garment Company is looking for Merchandisers for their Shanghai branch office with
the following qualifications：

- ? 5 years solid experience in garment manufacturing – a must
? Good fashion & color sense; familiar with approving lab-dips
? Experience in handling yarn and knit product items
? Sound technical knowledge (sample fitting & preparation of sample production specs to factories)
Strong technical skill in sourcing, development, production follow up & price negotiation
? Ability to see the order / account through from development to delivery.
Ability to carry out market research; source and develop materials and accessories, as well as finished products for customers
? Knowledge of production and sampling processes.
? Must be able to effectively interact with inter-company departments and outside suppliers and efficient with follow-up and documentations
? Ability to work independently and supervise merchandising team
? Ability to work with USA counterparts independently
? Good follow-up & communication skills with factories & US buyers (experience in American market is an advantage)
? Outgoing personality, creative, hard-working, self-motivated and with initiative and positive disposition
? Good in spoken and written English and Mandarin
