A QA/QC Auditor with significant experience in factory audits, for our regional buying offices in Shanghai

The scope of the activity covers partly but not only:

Perform factory audits, assessing the quality of HEMA producers and vendor management, production capability, and compliance with EU legal requirements (incl RoHS, REACH etc.) according to HEMA requirements
Coordinating the QA activities with merchandisers, quality colleagues and suppliers
Reporting QA audit outcome and define Corrective Action Plan (CAP)
Monitor CAP improvements and provide support to Supplier/Producers when required
Analyzing and judging CAP improvement evidences received by providing adequate conclusions

Main job activities:

Perform Quality Assurance audits according to HEMA standard and requirements
Write CAP reports
Monitor CAP progress within given due dates
Establish weekly report to management team

Acting with utmost integrity
Ability to work with people of different culture and background
Problem solving
Proficient skills in general office software (Excel, Outlook)
Must be adaptable, able to work independently and to work under pressure
Willingness to travel (several days a week) covering large area (North and South China)

Language requirements:

Excellent skills in spoken and written English
Ability to write concise reports in English
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all colleagues including senior management and with suppliers

Knowledge & Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance field preferably with an international retail company or a Laboratory/Inspection Company

Certification ISO 9001 or HACCP or Six Sigma would be preferred but not compulsory

Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above

Salary:
A suitable remuneration and package is available for this job, and will be also depending on the experience level
