Responsibilities:
1. Set strategic direction on informatics and data management area of focus;
2. Establish and maintain technical and scientific partnership with multiple R&Ds and clients;
3. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders;
4. Collaborate with IT operation and business units to deliver and support IT applications, systems, methods/solutions and process for R&D;
5. Mange a team of data management, informatics personnel;
6. Identify new opportunities for data management for drug discovery and research efforts;
7. Lead implementation of informatics and data management solutions;
8. Lead IT development to map business requirements into technical solution.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor or master degree in life sciences or related discipline with minimum of 5 years working experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries;
2. 3-5 years experience with organizational responsibilities in managing and implementing informatics and IT solutions in pharmaceutical or biotech environments;
3. Experience with database /applications development and/or business and data analysis;
4. Experience with evaluating, implementing and managing scientific data management platforms, document control, electronic;
5. In-depth understanding of research process and scientific information;
6. Expert knowledge of scientific data management approaches applications development cycles (SDLC);
7. Excellence in project leadership and resource management;
8. Strong communication skills to work with all levels of staff and management;
9. Proficient in IDBS ActivityBase system;
10.Knowledge and experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, programming/scripts languages.
