We are looking for a Super DBA to work in a world class software development environment.

Our ideal candidate is considered an expert in Microsoft SQL Server databases and database management. The candidate must be self-motivated, willing to work hard to create and support a production environment for our World Class healthcare products. We are seeking and individual with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. This is a great opportunity to work with the latest and greatest Microsoft and other technologies.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineer, Database Support:
? You will be responsible for keeping critical production applications performing well with maximum up-time.
? You will be solving unique and interesting challenges in quest for speed, scale, availability and efficiency of support services by engineering reliability into software and systems.
? You will review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems and also software performance analysis and system tuning.
? You will be our company expert in database technology, responsible for research and development in the latest SQL Server features.
? You will respond to and resolve emergent service problems; write software and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.

Requirements :
? BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
? MCSE or other Microsoft certification
? 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment.
? Deep SQL Server internals knowledge & experience
? Excellent in database tuning, security, backup, disaster recovery etc..
? Familiar with High Availability solutions and advanced SQL Server features, such as clustering, replication and distribution.
? Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
? Knowledge of IP Networking, network analysis and performance and application issues.
? Experience in Cloud deployment, particularly Amazon AWS.
