1. Short Description of Position:
To lead the fulfillment of plant floor systems expertise requirements in China by collecting and analyzing demand and managing the pool of Ford, Agency and supplier resource for delivery.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
Direct supervision of team of China-based resource for:

• 1) Studies of future Plant Floor Systems implementations 2) Implementation Experts for Plant Floor Systems
• Manage overall SME demand fulfillment
• Manage relationship with China-based suppliers for IPI resource and expertise
• Cycle plan analysis and demand planning
• Act as the key interface to the AD Business Office

3. Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position

Leadership
Demonstrated ability to deliver on project commitments through leadership, teamwork, problem analysis/resolution and productivity improvements
Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones and sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences
Strong written and oral communication skills
Passion for teaching and coaching local personnel in technical and leadership disciplines

Functional / Technical
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent bachelor’s degree
Experience in the implementation of IT systems in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of the IT Cycle Plan process and extraction of demand data for analysis
