POSITION TITLE
Supplier Development Manager

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manage our production development tasks and promote efficient production processes at partner plants for Lashing Bridge production


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To lead production improvement projects
· Make recommendations to R&D and design teams in CSS to make the fabrication processes as efficient as possible.
· Educate fabrication partners to follow recommendations
· Analyze and recommend improvements to cost structure of fabrication partner
· Calculate savings coming from CSS recommendations
· Review and evaluate suggestions from fabrication partners
· Training of fabrication partners in CSS products
· Recommending and designing new factory concepts (lay out of facility, machinery selection, etc.)
· Lead a team of production engineers and technicians

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
B.Sc./M.Sc., Production Engineering, Ship building engineering
Experience
Minimum 10 years in Production process engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience
Competencies
Very thorough knowledge of production processes
Must be experienced in Lean methodology
People management skills
Strong influencing and good cooperation skills
Fluent Chinese and English
Advantage:
Understanding of digitalization of production processes
