Lead Quality Assurance BI Data Analyst Ebay Enterprise Marketing Solutions is looking for a Lead Quality Assurance BI Data Analyst who is a highly motivated individual with deep analytical and problem solving skills. The QA Data Analyst will work as part of a dynamic team involved in testing data as we migrate into an entirely new reporting environment. This includes migrating into a new database, ETL tool and a new front end reporting tool. This role will involve performing hands on database testing, reporting QA and building automated audit tools that will help monitor data accuracy on-going in our database. As a member of the Business Intelligence Solutions Team, you will be part of a fast-paced environment committed to delivering critical strategic and operating insights to key business executives and decision makers. This role requires an enthusiastic, flexible, pro-active results-oriented professional with excellent attention to details, a passion for owning and producing top-quality deliverables, and a disciplined work ethic for meeting deadlines and commitments. This will be a new role within the Business Intelligence Solutions group so we need an individual that can take initiative and build a proper framework for the team to work with the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst.


Primary Responsibilities:
? Responsible for testing Reporting, stored procedures and ETL Processes
? Perform extensive QA on data and MicroStrategy reports
? Work concurrently on several projects, with different degrees of documentation and data sets that can differ greatly from project to project
? Work closely with the Microstrategy Developer to test reporting functionality and data accuracy
? Ensure that quality processes are carried out throughout all phases of the development life cycle
? Assisting with the deployment, adoption and BI Tool operations of the recent migration to MicroStrategy from SQL Server and Teradata
? Work with business partners, systems analyst, MSTR developer and technical ETL developers to create/analyze required project documentation and ensures that quality assurance processes are incorporated
? Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives
? Support upgrades and technical releases. Ensure deployment of applications that have impact of (BAU) day-to-day activities is complete
? Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans
? Actively participate in walkthrough, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
? Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure ETL processes are free of defects
? Monitor defect resolution efforts and track successes
? Create on-going audit reports
? Support QA management with information for issues escalation or concerns
? Identify and resolve issues and risks associated with the QA tasks and deliverable
? Create, maintain and update the necessary report descriptions and business requirements documentation
