职位描述
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Lead and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT, Packaging, Logistics and Finance) as well as coordination and communication with US to resolve problem issues.
2. Improve the operational processes and policies in support of organizations mission - specifically, support better business process and organizational planning.
3. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence. Assure the global sourcing office is operating within the established Lowe’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures and local laws of the assigned country.
4. Maintain awareness of local trends (political, economic, competitor, industry, and vendor) in assigned country.
5. Complete ad-hoc projects and provide requested information to headquarters in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Ensure all business objectives and activities contribute to the Top 10 IM&GS values:
1) Provide qualified global and diverse suppliers to support Merchant business
2) Offer innovative product options to create differentiation
3) Provide insight regarding product and manufacturing within the global industry
4) Secure lower cost options to provide Merchant with leverage in negotiations
5) Focus on bringing quality products to market
6) Develop a sound understanding of Merchant’s business plans and bring global and diverse options that meet the needs of the Customer
7) Be timely and effective in building relationships with the Merchant while executing Programs flawlessly
8) Proactively provide suggestions to improve the Merchant’s business
9) Consistently mentor and guide suppliers to help them improve
10) Prioritize the success of the Merchant’s business above the growth of imports
7. Assume all operational responsibilities of the Managing Director during his / her absence from the office.
Responsibilities by Function:
HR Management
1. Lead the Human Resources function to develop and implement human resources processes, policies & procedures in compliance with the Corporate HR policies and local Labor Law requirements
2. Provide guidance and support to the Human Resources function to promote a learning environment. Give strategic direction on design and implementation of learning & development programs and training activities.
3. Schedule all employee activities to ensure office is adequately staffed to meet the workload demands.
4. Recruit, motivate, and develop office staff. Identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Enhance employees’ engagement by cultivating a culture that is consistent with the company’s values and vision.
Logistics Function
1. Direct logistics team to ensure timely shipment execution thru effective liaison with carriers and vendors management (Shanghai Office only).
Finance Management
1. Plan and ensure operating expenses are all within budget.
2. Lead Finance team to monitor and control the accounting process implementation and improvement; make certain the accounting / tax compliance with local accounting / tax filings regulations and meeting internal audit requirements as well.
3. Liaise and managing relationships with outside accounting group
Packaging Management
1. Ensure Lowe’s Private Brand packaging initiatives are processed in a timely manner and in compliance with Lowe’s policies and guidelines.
Office Administration
1. Oversee all office administrative functions including office safety and security.
2. Planning to ensure sufficient and optimal resources utilization including office leasing, equipment, supplies and ongoing maintenance
IT Management
1. Manage IT operations and security to safeguard equipment and data; establish IT budget and control expenditures within budget.
Necessary Skills:
1. University graduate with over 10+ years experience in senior management level, with multi-national company background.
2. Broad-based experience across more than one functional domain, such as human resources, finance, information technology, office administration & supply chain management.
3. Extensive experience working with global teams.
4. Demonstrated leadership on a global level.
5. Strong project management and organizational skills.
6. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
7. Good understanding of retail business, import sourcing practices and procedures, operating processes.
8. Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English and predominate local language(s).
9. Graduate degree / MBA are highly desirable.
