Program Launch Manager
Location: Anting, Shanghai


1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的
Product Engineer in product engineering department is a position mainly in charge of coordinating the relevant business about new products launch and manages the product change.


2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责
Responsibilities:
Planning
Budgeting
Receives minimal supervision – once/week to once/month as needed
People leadership and teambuilding
Customer interface
Exhibits good communication skills
Lead new product launches that have new technologies from concept to production.
Creates process flow chart for new products
Leads cross functional teams in the effort of analyzing manufacturing data for the purpose of implementing difficult continuous improvement activities.
Interprets complex design changes and leads the effort to incorporate the change into manufacturing
Complete Green Belt training and support the facility’s GB initiatives as mandated.
Travel to other TRW sites, customer sites or supplier sites to provide support or execute instructions as provided by management or senior engineering leadership


3. KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求
Bilingual in Chinese and English.
Ability to combine various techniques to design a new system, product, process, or services needed for business
Solve Problems with highly effective solutions. Provides technical & philosophical guidance to others
Challenges existing paradigm resulting in large quantifiable improvements.
Familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS WORD, MS EXCEL, VISIO, MS PROJECT, MS POWERPOINT). Should have a working understanding of relational database use and be able to operate in a networked and web environment. Capable of creating specifications for the development of manufacturing software applications.
Familiarity with automotive industry process and tools such as TS16949, APQP,PPAP,SPC,MSA etc


3. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求
Educational: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
Experience: > 6 years experience in an electronics manufacturing engineering environment
Team leadership skills, project management skills and the capability to communicate and influence senior management, design and customers.
Experience utilizing Problem solving and decision-making tools and ability to facilitate a team utilizing the tools.
Experience with supporting PFMEA and Control Plans
Green Belt/Black Belt Six Sigma trained with practical experience
