Job Purpose:

Make sure welding workshop process control and QMS setup can delivery good quality of welding steel structures

Key performance areas:

· Be capable of developing, qualifying, and approving procedures, and establishing and approving techniques of WPS/WPQR from supplier side during steel Fabrications process manufacturing Stages.

· Interpreting welding process related and welding test related codes, standards, specifications and procedures to welding operators and PQCs.

· Setup Welding process IPV(In Process Verification) and Welding Quality Management System to make sure welding workshop can deliver a high quality products in an effective way and with high efficiency.

· Should have sufficient practical background in heavy industry fabrication and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available;

· NCR Handling and drive the investigation of root cause and initiate the troubleshooting solutions during welding process or with received parts from suppliers.

· Design the Quality control method for the sub-components from suppliers

Your profile:

· Be familiar with DIN/EN/ISO/Chinese welding standard and welding process specification (WPS/WPQR), and related NDT Inspection criteria.

· At least 3 years Practical experience in steel structure and welding Process control as the Welding Engineer or Welding quality control Engineer.

· Good knowledge in international welding Standard and welding process control.

· Be able to analysis and handle welding and quality problems.

· Good in communication and be able to lead a cross functional team to solve different kinds of welding quality problems

· With at least 3 years' welding, experience in the field of steel fabrication of heavy industry

· IWE is a plus

· Knowledge of NDT is a plus

· College level above, major in Welding Engineering

· CWI or IWE Certification is an advantage
