Job Description:

- Prepare high quality formulations
1. Ensure full understanding of customer requirements
2. Prepare cost effective formulations
3. Document process and results for individual color matches

- Conduct quality control and root cause analyses
1. Conduct quality control of liquid production samples
2. Investigate root causes in and beyond production for quality deviations
3. Work closely with production and other colleagues to ensure implementation of corrective actions

- Acquire, develop and share formulation knowledge
1. Work with colleagues regionally and globally to learn good practices
2. Continuously improve and add to good practices
3. Openly share challenges, good practices and successes with local, regional and global colleagues

- Maintain clean and safe working environment
1. Ensure tidy and well organized working area in accordance with 5s principles
2. Always wear prescribed PPE and ensure safety first in any and all situations
3. Work diligently to avoid any spillage or other environmental harm

Requirements:
1. Master's degree in chemical engineering, color science or similar field
2. Preferably 2-3 years working experience in printing ink or similar industry
3. Preferably international work or study experience
4. Strong collaborative mindset, good listening and communication skills
5. Strong English skills are a must for communication with international counterparts;
6. Good MS Office skills and SAP knowledge are a plus
