职位描述
I. Purpose
The Facilities Maintenance Manager would be the central coordinator for all China JV sites, mainly leading the development, implementation and performance tracking of Maintenance systems at the sites.
II. Areas of Responsibility
- Go to person for JVs Facilities maintenance and operations
- Understanding of current status of China Plants facilities maintenance and operations
- Regularly interact with facility counterparts through email, conference call and
visit

- Support plants facilities department for 100% uptime, ensure backup plan is available & reviewed
- Participant in plant facilities operation improvement
- Participant in JV plant facilities operation optimization study
- Peer review for plant PPM plans
- Support asset condition monitoring
- Participant in plant facilities operation improvement
- Participant in JV plant facilities operation optimization study
- Peer review for plant PPM plans
- Support asset condition monitoring
- Liaison between GMIO and JVs
- Be a part of regional facility operation/maintenance team
- Be a channel between GMIO and China JVs to ensure all best practices and lesson learnt are well communicated with China JVs
- Be a part of regional facility operation/maintenance team

- Be a bridge between 2 JVs for benchmark and best practice sharing
- Support China Campus facility operations

III. Qualifications
Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of complex building systems, utility system and infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge and understanding of quality management systems & standards preferred.
- Demonstrated professional technical interest & expertise in manufacturing, building/infrastructure management and business systems
- Knowledge of safe work & environmental practices related to maintenance of equipment
Skills:
- Analytical skills sufficient for the evaluation and resolution of problems while working independently
- Able to transfer knowledge and best practice to JV counterparts
- Willingness to interact cross functionally and ability to effectively communicate with JV counterparts
- Proficiency in English language highly desirable.
Experience/Education:
Experience:
- Proven experience (10 years) in providing engineering expertise with electro mechanical maintenance management, retrofit projects, power distributions and maintenance contracts.
Education:
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Membership or eligible to be member of the Institute of Engineers or Equivalent.
- Relevant post graduate qualification highly regarded
