Description:
Staying abreast of the latest trends in both the culinary, and wine and spirits world
Being knowledgeable about different types and regions of wines
Helping customers choose the correct wine for a meal or budget
Designing the wine menu
House Wine Selection
Managing the inventory of about 40,000 bottles of wine with more than 4,000 labels at the largest wine cellar in Shanghai
Hosting and attending wine-tasting events
Conducting training programs for wine cellar personnel
Cultivating relationships with distributions and vineyard owners
Leading a 8-people wine department

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years sommelier experience in fine dining venues and/or wine cellar
Relevant academic background and certification
Good leadership skill and ability to supervise a team of wine advisors
Strong management skill and attention to detail
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin (able to speak French preferred)
Proper International exposure
