ABOUT THE JOB

To support DC in developing and managing the Quality work, carry out quality inspections, block affected goods and relevant actions to ensure only good quality products will be delivered for the benefit of customers in the Stores. Create valuable inspection reports which enable Trading, IOS and Supplier to take corrective action for prevention.


YOUR ASSIGNMENT

? Be the main interface between the DC and Regional Quality Support Centre (QSC)
? Apply all valid IKEA rules and working method and ensure different tasks are carried out according to agreed timeframes and deadlines.
? Conduct quality investigations according to case information generated from regional Quality Support Centre.
? Verify store returns connected to quality issues and optimize the unit load (Cost considerations) and secure the quantity is added in CASY.
? Suggest actions including the cost estimations in cooperation with the QSC.
? Register within the agreed time a valuable investigation report in CASY including pictures which shows the problem.
? Responsible to coordinate, ensure and also carry out all the accepted Buyer Claim actions at the DSP (Return, repair, scrap and As-Is), taking prioritization into account (service level and to secure goods availability).
? Focus on goods availability and release continuously repaired stock.
? Measure the productivity of action finalized and report back to QSC when the action is done.
? Support DC/CDC Operations with Neat & Clean Packages.
? Follow environmental policies as it relates to product disposition.


YOUR PROFILE

? Two years of quality (technical/craftsmen background) experience, including technical skills needed for local article inspections
? Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment
? Good command of English and fluent in the local language
? PC/Computer literate
? Previous assembly and packaging experience
? Forklift experience and ability to use pallet jack
? Works well independently and with excellent problem solving skills
? Customer oriented way of thinking
? Ability to organize, coordinate and supervise activities
? Used to work physically, Ability to lift up to the regions specific lifting maximums
