职位描述

Position Focus:
1、Manage the R&D team to design, develop, market and sell new textile products to key strategic OEMs globally.
管理r&d团队完成设计开发和产品销售任务
2、Handover robust fit for purpose products to manufacturing and ensure fabric meets OEM specifications.
产品移交,并确保满足主机厂要求
3、Grow $ sales

Management Scope:
1、Managing the Designers, Senior Engineers, Engineers and Sample Department.
管理设计师、高级工程师和工程师

Job Specific Comments:
I) Management 管理
1、Responsible for managing, leading, coaching and mentoring Designers, Senior Engineers. Engineers and Sample
Department personnel
负责运作、领导和培训设计师、高级工程师和工程师
2、Work with the R&D Director on all HR issues relating to the group.
协助R&D总监完成团队组织中的人员问题。
3、Conduct performance reviews for the team
负责团队的绩效评估
4、Ensure staff have correct skill sets – if not implement PIP process and replace staff if necesary
确保员工具备相应的技能—必要时需要更换员工
5、Responsible for development of all fabrics.
负责所有面料的开发工作
6、Visit customer as required.

7、Attend OEM design kick off meetings as required.
参加主机厂的启动会议
8、Chair the weekly Design, Development and Product Launch Meetings.
负责组织每周的设计开发例会和量产会议
9、Prioritise workload of the team as necessary.

II)Design设计
1、To ensure Designers interpret the design requirements and select appropriate fabrics from already developed samples.
确保设计师理解客户的设计需求,并基于此挑选面料
2、To ensure Designers create new designs using CAD to suit the customer design brief.
确保设计师用CAD设计新的花型以满足客户的设计需求
3、To ensure Designers execute the colour mastering process efficiently and effectively.
保证设计师颜色封样的有效。
4、To ensure Designers keep informed on Trends in the market place – inclusive of Automotive, Fashion, Home Furnishing and Technology. 
确保设计师保持市场流行趋势的敏锐性,包括汽车、时装、家装和技术
5、To ensure designers are utilising WGSN, Art Galleries, Museums, Magazines etc etc to compile research
确保设计师有效应用WGSN、艺术展、博物馆、杂志等实现素材的收集
6、To ensure Designers are creating mood/inspiration boards from this research.
确保设计师能转化成创造灵感
7、To ensure Designers use this Trend research to create an annual design collection.

8、To ensure Designers use this Trend research to produce a minimum of 3 new designs per week.

9、To ensure Designers assist in keeping the Global Textile Showrooms current

III)Engineers工程师
1、Support the Senior Engineer to lead the allocated OEM cell.
支持高级工程师管理各个主机厂单元的项目
2、To ensure Engineers understand OEM specification in detail. 
确保工程师完全理解主机厂的要求
3、To ensure Engineers check product passes OEM test specifications.
确保工程师验证产品并符合主机厂的要求
4、To ensure Engineers submit test packs to OEM for sign off.
确保工程师提交测试报告
5、To ensure Engineers plan and schedule trials to meet customer deadlines.
确保工程师按照客户时间要求提交样品
6、To ensure Engineers select optimum Raw Materials and Process Route for all samples and subsequent production
确保工程师为每次试样选择合适的原材料和工艺路径
7、To ensure Engineers develop robust fit for purpose products to handover to manufacturing.

8、To ensure Engineers run 5 production batches pre-launch with Technical Manufacturing present.
