HFT Shanghai Co., Ltd. is a Halma ( http://www.halma.com/ ) company that supports Halma's Fluid Technology Division, which consists of 5 subsidiary companies in the U.S making critical components/devices such as valves & pumps, probes & connectors, gas sample conditioning devices and mass flow meters etc. These products are widely used by scientific, environmental, medical and industry instrument manufacturers for demanding fluid handling applications.
HFT Shanghai Co., Ltd. is on a steep growth path as a result of new products being produced by this manfacturing center. We require the expertise and leadership of this position with a proven-track-record in related-industries to achieve business & operations excellence.

Job Summary:


The Quality manager develops, implements and manages processes and systems that assure the quality of products manufactured and shipped by HFT Shanghai Co., Ltd. in compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and HFT products standards.

This position is responsible for the development and operation of process quality control, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedure, the quality manager shall have the ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, the facility with COQ (cost of quality) concepts and techniques to drive COQ reduction. Promote the reliability and consistency of all processes in vendor site and plant manufacturing as well as customer satisfaction with high quality products delivery.


Responsibilities:
1. Develop, manage and lead the quality function / quality management system, maintaining ISO accreditation during the fiscal year. Emphasis should be placed on a continuous improvement approach to the operating system.
2. Be responsible to lay out solid product quality plans, working across all operations functions to ensure effective implementation of the plan which is measured through the metrics of customer satisfaction, ontime delivery, error-free shipments as well as vendor quality control
3. Manages day-today activities and performance of qualify staff (auditors, quality engineer and inspectors) throughout the vendor site, plant manufacturing and products delivery system, and reportsoperations quality status as required by management system or customers.
4. Follow up with proper departments to develop preventive & corrective actions as well as continuousimprovement projects within the business to actively engage employees.
5. Leading customers &/or third party auditors through management system, proving compliance with customer required standards.
6. Assists operations director with products launch activities, developing new product processes with plant quality team.
7. Develop customer centric culture within HFT operations through the development of sound relationships with key accounts.

Job Requirements


1.Bachelor degree in engineering or related disciplines
2.At least 6+ years as quality manager with in-depth knowledge and solid experience of ISO9001 quality management system in international environment, and the work experience of ISO13485 and medical instruments industry is highly preferred.
3.Strong leadership abilities, conflict management skills and being able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
4.Highly creative and process improvement focused throughout the value chain.
5.Good familiarity with lean and 6 sigma methodologies is highly preferred
6.Ability to manage multiple projects and strong decision making capabilities
7.Good command of English, both spoken and written.
8.Working knowledge of MS Office
