General Purpose:
Leads and directs Asia quality system efforts to ensure that the products and services produced by Flow International meet or exceed customer expectations. Work closely with Global Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering to establish standards of quality and the strategy to manufacture and install superior quality products. Monitor and report the quality performance from incoming, assembly, field installation. Coordinate relevant departments in Asia to identify the opportunities and communicate globally for quality improvement and take corrective actions to continuously improve quality performance to pursue Zero Defects and Customer Loyalty.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
? Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures and controls
? Audit to above standards for manufacturing and transactional processes
? Work directly with manufacturing to schedule and conduct inspection activities, implement counter measures as appropriate
? Establish and maintain a supplier quality program (internal and external) to include quality rating metrics, certification and continuous improvement focused on reducing supplier defects.
? Develop and manage a supplier development process in conjunction with Global Supply Chain to include the 7 step method of problem solving and risk mitigation techniques
? Work with engineering and manufacturing departments to identify critical product characteristics and establish test and inspection criteria. Report capability for critical dimensions on critical parts where interruption to manufacturing potential has been identified
? Manages MRB process with existing departmental resources
? Monitor quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing quality reports
? Coordinate relevant departments in Asia to identify the opportunities for quality improvement and take corrective actions to continuously improve quality performance
? Provide training and leadership to Quality Assurance staffs as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Leadership skills required
? Must be passionate about using facts to improve processes and persuade associates
? Must be passionate about building quality into our products
? Supplier Quality Engineering and Development experience strongly desired
? Working knowledge of common statistical tools and software (Minitab)
? Comprehensive knowledge of quality procedures and requirements to include MRB, PPAP, ISO 9001
? Supervisory experience required, multi-site supervisory experience preferred
? Departmental and budget management experience helpful
? Capable of strategic and tactical thought leadership
? Requires strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, solicit input, motivate employees
? Ability to work independently on projects, and perform effectively in a team environment
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Detail oriented
? Ability to lead, train and develop others in the performance of job functions

Supervisory Responsibility:
Yes.

Education and/or Training:
? College degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience.
? Ten (10) years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing environment including two (2) years in a supervisory or lead position.
? Independent Professional Certification a plus (ASQ, AAPICS)
? Demonstrated Six Sigma capability strongly desired
? Intermediate skill level utilizing Windows, Excel, Access and Word.
? Formal training in ISO 9001a plus.

超高压水刀的基本技术既简单又极为复杂。当水被加压至60,000 PSI (或以上)并且从一小开孔通过时, 它可切割各种软质材料，包括食品、纸张,、纸尿片、橡胶及泡棉。 而当少量的砂，如石榴砂被加入水射流中与其混合时, 所产生之加砂水射流, 实际上可切割任何硬质材料，包括金属、复合材料、石材及玻璃。 超高压水刀也可用于各种不同的工业表面处理，如船身清洗及汽车喷漆设备清洗。最近福禄更成功运用超高压水刀技术达到超高温杀菌的效果且无高热引起的影响。超高压水刀不但可摧毁一些坏死显微组织, 同时也可杀死有害的病原体如 E. coli bacteria 及 listeria。
