The eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions team is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, CRM Analytics.
As a Senior Specialist, CRM Analytics, you will use a variety of data sources and software tools such as SAS, SQL, and Excel to develop analyses to help our clients make sound business decisions. You will support both clients and internal stakeholders through detailed analysis of customer level behavioral data to drive key marketing decisions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

? Work as an expert to lead customer, transactional and CRM analytics projects, including project scoping, measurement plan creation, methodology design, implementation and insight and recommendation generation.
? Understand clients business requirements, and building reports, conducting deep dive analysis or using data mining technique to deliver solution for marketing targeting and optimization
? Develop customer profiles and segments based on key customer KPIs
? Extract, clean, and analyze detailed customer level transactional and behavioral data using appropriate analytical methods
? Utilize SAS, SQL, and other tools to bring together disparate data sources to streamline and automate defined analyses
? Use techniques like linear and logistic regression, discriminant analysis, response modeling, principal component analysis, cluster analysis, decision tree methods, and market basket analysis/association discovery to apply rigor to the methods we utilize to solve our client’s business question and identify their most valuable customers and the customers with the highest potential.
? Create compelling, easy-to-understand data visualizations and presentations in order to communicate data-driven insights to clients
? Present analytics findings, insights and recommendations to internal partners and external clients; maintain client relationships
? Partner with US analytics team, work closely with client service, technology and COE team to provide full project solution for clients
? Identify when an ongoing analytical request should be migrated to the BI solutions team for automation and clearly articulate associated reporting requirements
? Actively participate in new product development
? Understands where business opportunities exist to pair different functional areas together, i.e. attribution with other data sets – and its unique applications with Customer, Web, or other Marketing.

Job Requirements:

? Minimum Bachelor degree in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics), Master degree preferred.
? 3-5 years professional experience in an analytical role (prior experience in Agency/consulting or Internet industry a plus)
? Strong experience on customer analysis such as Customer profiling, Logistic regression, segmentation, behavior analysis, customer lifetime value analysis, predictive modeling, market basket analysis, and experimental design
? Proficiency with Database query(SQL) and statistical tools (SAS, SPSS or R); Effectively use the tool for data extraction and manipulation, statistics modelling and reporting
? Good communication skills; Be able to explain technical terms such as statistical modelling methods and results to clients who don’t have technical background
? Understands how buyer behavior differs across verticals, their respective seasons, and the expected impact on the attributed results. (in support of business development and/or context for work products)
? Deep familiarity with traditional cross-channel relationships, able to speak to synergies and quickly identify opportunities (or anomalies) in a business’s data.
? Business development experience a plus
? Ability to Develop junior team members to ensure high productivity and a fulfilling work environment
? Ability to plan, organize, & work on multiple projects at once
