Job description:

1. Work together with the merchandisers and the QCs to improve the technical quality of both woven and knitted garments in the region.
2. Check all incoming samples and provide sample report.
3. Be able to suggest improvements on the garments in order to raise the technical quality.
4. Work together with the sample rooms in the factory to raise sample quality and improve fitting.
5. Preferable being able to join in meeting with merchandisers and buyers to give input on technical issues.
6. Ensure that factory have needful information to be able to produce with a high technical quality level and follow Buyer's request on placed order.
7. Ensure that factories understand and follow our requirements for sampling, fitting, making and quality.
8. Work closely with Merchandiser to ensure only accurate samples is to be sent to buyer and that agreed time schedule can be kept.
9. Search feedback from buyer regarding products fitting, quality,and making.
10. Know factories ability to produce orders and follow company requirement. Educate supplier when needed.

Requirements:

1. Textile education or long working experience in garment production.
2. 1-2 years experience in garment production with strong technical skill for woven/knit products, experience in Men's wear is an advantage
3. Skilled in pattern making and grading
4. Good command in written and spoken English
5. Have a commercial approach and ability to understand buyers' requirements
6. High risk analyzing skill to foresee eventual problems
7. Have a pro-active attitude and ability to prioritize and organize the work process to be efficient
8. Strong communication skill and give clear messages both face to face and in writing
9. Have ability to relate to others both one to one and in team
10. Take responsibility to give and get feedback
11. Knowledge in excel, word and email program
12. It is beneficial with knowledge in Lectra or other CAD program
