POSITION: Marketing and Client Services Manager - Greater China
GMS Group is a highly diversified multinational headquartered in Singapore, specialising in loyalty marketing, technology products, logistics and medical tourism. Founded in 1995 in the UK, GMS has a network of over 60 offices across 12 countries throughout the Asia & Pacific regions and employs over 800 staff.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Based in Shanghai this position would report directly to the Marketing Director, Greater China. This role is to develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing strategies and to evaluate and optimize performance for the Company's Hotel Clients in Greater China.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and implement regional and tactical marketing and communication strategies and plans for Client Hotels
· Overall responsibility for delivery of Client's regular end to end communications to the membership database (newsletter, email marketing, SMS marketing, website, mobile applications)
· Manage and maintain use of Clients' databases according to their Company policy and Contact Strategy
· Day to day web management activities including copywriting, review, approval and translation
· Manage the production of all relevant collateral including some translation
· Prepare reports and other tracking measures in order to track the performance of Client's loyalty programmes and address gaps on programme improvement.
· Key liaison for all vendors and agencies on behalf of Clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and within budget
· Source appropriate partnership, bulk sales and marketing opportunities for the Client
· Assist Client with their day to day enquiries
· Conduct training for certain Client Hotels
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Degree in Marketing/Business/Communications with 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in customer loyalty in a hospitality/travel related industry
· Understanding of market segmentation analysis to develop marketing plans and determine communication strategies
· Good knowledge of online communications including website development, email & SMS marketing, social/new media and mobile applications
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experienced at one to one relationship management, negotiation and presentation delivery
· Fluency in written/spoken English. Able to translate promotional copy
· Highly organized, able to work independently
· Ability to deliver training
· High level skills in PowerPoint Excel and Word
