Responsibilities:
- Lead to maintain a safe and productive laboratory from advanced processing/ testing techniques, and maintenance of good condition of equipment, tooling, and facility.
- Provide weekly schedules for processing/testing activities along with measured time to completion metrics, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Supervise technical assistants to achieve agreed upon schedules
- Understand technical trends, regulatory requirements and competitive offerings in new market.
- Responsible for exploring and validating new processing/testing platform to secure a strong growth pipeline by generating the required application guideline and data analysis to support the value proposition to sell effectively into the market.
- Support new product introduction and evaluation.
- Initiates, plans and executes complex multidisciplinary research projects within predefined deadlines and aligned with business needs/impact.


Requirements:
Education & Training :
? 3-year PhD or 5-year Master in Polymer/Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science

Experience:
? At least 3 years Marketing leaders, R&D leader, project leader experiences
? Strong leadership and rich experience in people management.
? Solid understanding and rich experience in mechanical design, CAE analysis, or plastic processing methods (Thin wall Injection Molding, In-Mold-Decoration, Extrusion, Forming etc.).

Competency :
? Deep knowledge in ISO/ASTM standard, strong data analysis ability.
? Understanding of mechanical engineering design, stress analysis and mechanical performance prediction and testing.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin.
? Extensive field marketing and/or industry or product management experience with demonstrated ability to turn customer/industry needs into growth opportunities.
? Successful track record of developing and executing strategic product and/or marketing plans
? Strong technical understanding of engineering thermoplastics, particularly within the Specialty portfolio
? Strong ability to lead and deliver results within a matrix team environment.
? Motivated, self-starter able to work remotely and independently.
? Creative, critical thinker, good problem solving and facilitation skills
