职位名称：实验室助理
上班地点：虹桥校区，无班车
工作时间：7：45-4：30， 周一至周五
主要工作范围为：帮助实验室老师准备上课所用的化学制剂品及其他实验室材料，进行化学制剂和实验所用器具的采购，协助实验室老师进行辅导教学，整理化学物品。
Requirement:
1. College degree with good English communication skill with classroom teachers
2. Chemical background
Responsibility:
1: Assist classroom teachers in preparing laboratory materials (equipment and chemicals).
2: Assist classroom teachers in clean-up after each lab, including disposal of dangerous materials.
3: Maintain materials storeroom, including a safe and logical organization system.
4: Keep an accurate inventory of all science materials. Assist classroom teachers with the annual order and local monthly orders (especially chemicals) as needed.
5: Assist classroom teachers in keeping classrooms safe, including periodic checks on fire-extinguishers, fire-blankets, sand-buckets, broken glass-containers, goggles, and eye-wash and shower stations.

SCIS was founded in 1990 by the International Schools Foundation. ISF operates five international schools: two in Shanghai, and one each in Hangzhou, Jakarta, and Cape Town. ISF is a non-profit (501 C-3) organization located in Lansing, Michigan, and operated by an appointed Board of Governors.
SCIS currently has over 1500 children enrolled in preschool through grade 12, across four campus locations.
SCIS has a dedicated and talented group of educators on each campus. They are a diverse team who come mainly from the USA, Canada, England, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
SCIS is based on the American system (grade levels, similar structure of class offerings, daily schedule, yearly calendar); school hours for student attendance is 8:00 - 3:00, Mondays through Fridays.
The curriculum is international (based on an American framework, but incorporating the standards from many Western countries: USA, England, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand); materials are largely from the U.S., but also include materials from other countries.
Over 50 nationalities are represented among the SCIS community.
