Major Job Responsibilities:

1.update recruitment information on job website and contact qualified candidates for interview
2.go to social security center for new staff recruitment procedure
3.distribute policy handbook and introduce school policy to new staff
4.make, organize and update files for staff in all the campus
5.conduct leaving procedure for left staff including going to social securtiy center and archive files etc.
6.update local staff list and organization chart
7.register, proceed and renew Shanghai Residence Permit both online and going to social scurity center for local staff from other cities who require it
8.check local staff attendence for all campuses every month
9.receive and file leave application forms from all the local staff and coordinate with deptments
10.receive and help resolve housing problems for faculty staff who take school providing houses
11.organize school cars' files and renew insurance for them
12.assist with all the other HR dept work
13.complete other jobs assigned by Director of Business Operation

Shanghai Community International School (SCIS) operates on Three campus locations: Shanghai (Hongqiao Campus, Pudong LS/USCampus) and Hangzhou International School.
 SCIS has a full term of accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
 SCIS was founded in 1990 by the International Schools Foundation. ISF operates five international schools: two in Shanghai, and one each in Hangzhou, Jakarta, and Cape Town. ISF is a non-profit (501 C-3) organization located in Lansing, Michigan, and operated by an appointed Board of Governors.
 SCIS currently has over 1500 children enrolled in preschool through grade 12, across four campus locations.
SCIS has a dedicated and talented group of educators on each campus. They are a diverse team who come mainly from the USA, Canada, England, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

SCIS is based on the American system (grade levels, similar structure of class offerings, daily schedule, yearly calendar); school hours for student attendance is 8:00 - 3:00, Mondays through Fridays.

The curriculum is international (based on an American framework, but incorporating the standards from many Western countries: USA, England, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand); materials are largely from the U.S., but also include materials from other countries.
